(Many companies have announced pay cuts and retrenchments. Interestingly, some of these companies are rumoured to have made profits in this financial year, not as huge as in the past years maybe, but profits nevertheless.)
The waves of salary are rolling back,
India Shining’s façade is starting to crack,
Some employers are jumping into the fray
To cut throats, despite a profit display,
Not ‘in the red’, they are just being Black.
